Our story
We started with a paintbrush, not a server rack.
RV-ESC began by working with friends and small businesses in the worlds of art, music, food and design in Johannesburg. The brief was rarely technical. People needed to be represented properly online, so we designed their visual identities and then built the websites to carry them.
The technology followed the relationships. Clients who trusted us with their brand started asking who was looking after their email, their files, their machines. Answering that honestly meant becoming good at it.
That history still shapes how we work. We came to IT through design and through small businesses, which means we tend to ask what you are actually trying to achieve before recommending anything you have to pay for.
